When identifying single arc structures we are looking for a couple of features:
- A single band stretching across the camera's entire field of view or just a small part section
- Arcs can have a variety of orientations, east to west, north to south, or a mix of angles
- Arc can be straight or curved
- Arc can be green, red, blue, or a mix of the three colours
- Can appear as a well defined band or have a "curtain effect" where it streams down from the center of the camera towards the edges
